TGIF

All I can say is I am happy it is Fri. I need a break from work and school. This has been a busy week for me, I know I say that all the time, but this week was extra busy. My aunt is having a garage sale tomorrow and nobody in my family has had one of those since I was 10, so I have a whole bunch of junk that I accumulated over those 14 years ha-ha. Not really, but I do have a bunch of stuff that could be someone else’s treasure, so this is a perfect opportunity for me to try and get rid of it. So that's been taking up a lot of time this week, sorting through things I haven’t seen in years, the funniest thing I found was my first cell phone, let me tell you, I haven’t seen that phone since 2000, it brought back memories of when I was a young kid because the phone was huge and I remember how rare cell phones were back then.
Tomorrow I am going out to the revel to watch Sister Hazel play, should be a good show. I also enjoy the revel so it is a good excuse to go. Anyone been to the revel yet this year? It is usually fun, so I am not worried about it. Hope everyone has a good weekend and Geaux Tigers!

  1. No, so far i haven't been to the revel. I see that a lot of people have really been going though. It has been a busy week for me also. I work two jobs and so I try to relax a little, but sometimes it is hard because I really am getting after it this semester. Hopefully i can get some rest tonight. Have a great weekend.

  2. I haven't made it to the revel yet either. It sounds like you going to have a busy weekend also. I plan on watching LSU and Florida's football game Saturday. I hope you enjoy your weekend.

  3. I worked at a celluar phone company in 92. Phones were huge, and they cost $1,000. Air-time was $1 a minute. We sure have come a long way.

  4. I recycled my first cell phone! Yes, it was huge.

No, I haven't been to the Revel since it started charging for admission. When I worked downtown, and it was free, I used to attend every day.

    Hope you had fun.
